...my daughter has been struggling with an illness that is kicking the stuffing out of my empathy stamina. I guess I'm a bit worn out with the worry and the bizarre way the ailments come and go - dashing hopes that it seems she's on the mend only to be backslapped with a reoccurrance.
Despite the drama, I get amused by her way of communicating. Frequently in cartoon - I always love the expressions she puts on the stick people.
Jackie - your daughter is a true ARTIST and your influence is going to ensure she remains one as she grows up. These cartoons and their expressions are awesome.

Have you thought of scanning these and playing with them in quilts. I think it'd be a great way to hang onto these precious emotions.
