Splatter mushroom planter |
Instand food thermometer collection |
Pawing through the 25 cent bin of kitchen utensils
(I grab a spatula, usually, as my rake to search - saves my fingers from little cuts!)
Those thermometers above are fun in their varied designs. Testing them in a cup of boiling water proves some w-i-d-e accuracy margins! (or is that precision - always got those two mixed up in science class)
Silverplated servers |
Naturally these servers were in their rough form when found - dark black!
Oneida tudor plate Bridal Wreath pie servers with a lonely Sheffield salad server.
Eva Zeisel Frost Flowers for Hall-craft |
Lovely finds inside too - the peacock blue flower color of the Eva Zeisel cup/saucers is just gorgeous.
Took awhile to find the matching saucers once the cups were spied, the plates to go with were in very poor condition - so behind they stayed.
Ben Seibel Raymor Steubenville |
And Contempora cups, saucers and plates found too.
These were very dirty and cleaned up beautifully!
Sharing today with:
Those blue and white cups and saucers are utterly lovely!!

Love those thermometers, I picked up one similar to the white enamel one a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteI love mushrooms! That planter is very cool.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds. The thermometer collection looks sweet.
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of old thermometers too! I think I need to present them as a collection.
ReplyDeleteThanks, folks! I'm mulling over another way to present the thermometers too. Right now they're a "bouquet" in my kitchen window. :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the handful of thermometers. If you find any interesting patterns on potato mashers grab them for me - I'll pay you back somehow...
ReplyDeleteI am in love with all of the tea cups you have found! I thrift a ton of my clothing (http://awifeofmaterial.wordpress.com) and have found some killer stuff! Do you have a lot of thrift stores in your area?
