Now, if I continue on in this vein I'll have something like this mock up...
But I may have jinxed myself by projecting too far into the future.
Lemme' assemble the first section and then I'll know what more I'd like to do!
Starting to look like a woven swatch of cloth!
Painting the fabric modules works well in my compact tablespace.
Debating on placing contrast banding between the blocks - or extending the painted "warp" and "weft".
Meanwhile one of the "oops" panels was swiped by Mom and has been pieced into a jacket. Can't wait to see that!
I'll admit it - those durn critters will grow on you!
15 hamsters were a bit much, but now we're down to 6 (one per cage) it's a lot better. I can even tell them apart. That's Runt on the left. Survivor of multiple escapes and even the clutches of Dewey (on the right) once or twice.
Mr. Dewey is getting lazy though. Here he's perched on the new backpack surveying the maze of cages in Critter Corner.
With the warm weather we're exploring our own version of lazy. And recovering from a bit of a health wobble - ready to tackle some more fabric painting.
