Fabric Was Calling Me...

...for months. The http://www.superbuzzy.com/ kitchen canvas purchased over the summer. This morning the tote design gelled in my head and I churned it out in a couple of hours. Painters canvas, again, for the plain part.

Got stuck when the top band, meant as an inside accent, got stitched on backwards - so I morphed the design to show a bit of fabric inside and remainder on the exterior. Then added a quick label front and back similar to the owls in the http://moonstitches.typepad.com/ tutorial.

Now "Not Made In China" is supposed to be tongue in cheek funny - not derogatory of folks in China. It speaks to how we can become consuming drones, just buying on a whim and for the sake of buying. Instead this tote was created the slow way - handmade in a non-production manner.
