This idea has been lurking in the background.
When I started making a few of the covered buttons it was evident that 2 layers of fabric were needed to prevent the metal button from glistening through from underneath.
But what if the bottom fabric could peek through?

ReplyDeleteWhat are the measurements of your button? I struggle so much with hand stitching little buggers like that. I think your button now really has it's own little life.

This one's 1.5" diameter. I fumbled around with machine stitching this edging. Much tweaking can be done with repetition!!
