Wandering pathways hand stitching.
Getting a feel for the pull of thread through different fabrics,
recollecting the sound of the fibers and needle, squeaking through the tough parts.
And relearning the tangle of the pull skein.

I'm really crushing on the walnut dye contrasting with the white stitch!
ReplyDeleteI love this - wish I could still hand-stitch but I now have new anti-inflammatory gel to ease the arthritic joints so I'll try again.
ReplyDeleteokay. i have so got to get my cloth and thread back out and explore/create some wandering pathways of my own.
