Xmas zippered pouch with sewing supplies |
I gleaned the instructions for this bag from a Pinterest pin here. I was unable to find the true source of the photos - clicking through the back links brought me to a ?Chinese? sight which seemed to source it from a French site via a Korean site...etc.
Xmas tea towel exterior |
At any rate - the series of photos stepped out the assembly process beautifully. So I got to work with materials on hand for the prototype.
Quilters cotton interior with freebie binding |
Everything processed pretty smoothly with a tiny bit of trouble sewing around the end of the zipper.
This was exacerbated by the scale of my project - about 200% undersized (I guessed at the original pouch size and was WAAAAAAAAAY off!
Teensy sewing kit |
My project ending up too small to hold pens, pencils or eyeglasses, but just barely big enough for an emergency sewing kit!
Will I make it again???
YES!
But bigger.
Evening stitching |
Now, I'm wooed back to cross-stitch for the moment - a bit of seasonal stitching in the evenings. LOVE the hues in my linen stash!
What've you been up to? Any Seasonal Stitching going on?
Thanks for stopping by!
