Beaded cabochon

I chose this cabochon 'coz it's my colors - rusty earth tones, textured, and has a hint of Asian feel to it. I like the contrast of the black and beading, so will try to maintain a bit of that when I complete it into a pin/brooch.

It was great to catch up with everyone after the holidays. Show and tell included knitted items from an Alaskan visitor. Such exotic-ness in tropical FL - gloves that became mittens - bamboo sweater set - wool woven jackets and scarves.
