Yesterday, 'coz the daughter was home sick from school with a bad cold and I was feeling just the tiny bit put upon to have my recovery Monday intruded upon by service and sickness and sound.
So this is the guts of silk ties bought at Saturdays garage sale as a base. Bamboo batting and an old napkin as a backing - dragged 'round to the front for an impromptu binding.
Inks bought dirt cheap tested in swirls then randomly stitched with various threads. Fun to do. Theraputic.
