Our chosen pumpkin for the season! Selected from the "Pumpkin Church" from pallets shipped in for their annual fund raiser.
Carving doesn't happen until the day before Halloween. Our Florida climate induces mold and decay in the cut gourds in 2 days - sloppy pulp in a week.
This week, though, we've loved the cool snap that allows THIS momentous occasion.....
YES!!! I'm wearing jeans!! It's coooool enough to enjoy them. Silly stuff, perhaps, and oh so enjoyable, mentally signaling the end of the heat and humidity season.
