Trying too hard...

trying too hard, originally uploaded by jckirner.

...and making inevitable missteps. Fusing onto the wrong side of fabric - and naturally it's the one I can't replace. Finding I've over-decluttered and thrown out an entire box of fabrics I liked. Trying to make buttons and discovering I've used up my supplies.

I feel like I'm wading through a thick fog in the swamp!! My mind's not focused and I'm moving so sluggishly. Bizarre....

  1. Breathe in, breathe out. Perhaps you should leave it and come back when you are in another frame of mind. Things will work out - they usually always do. I love the beginnings of your buttons. What size do you use?

  2. Well, i really like your mistakes if those are the results---and over de-cluttering is sometimes a good way to stretch!

  3. Ouch! I've cut into fabrics only to realize I'd only specified them for other projects. I see it as creative fates stepping in to right a wrong I would have committed.
