Vintage Bits - Thrift Share Monday

A visit to Melbourne, FL and thrifting the local haunts this weekend.

1936 Christmas carols booklet and 1950's-ish Wonder book.
(It's all about the graphics!)

Oh yes - graphics galore in this little red "Let's Play and Sing" book.

Stitchy Bits! Palmer and Pletsch, Vogue and Aunt Martha

Old Consumer Reports magazines, circa 1960's! There were more, but I picked for graphics and content. These ones are Christmas Buying Guides (spirograph!!) and reviews on classic (now, anyway) cars.

Vermont tea pot shaped trivet

An obsolete slide storage box - future art supplies organizer, I think!

And a slightly dinged up hand-painted Santa egg. He looks like  he has a black eye, and that amused me immensely in the store!

  1. Love the vintage childrens' books. They don't make 'em like they used to. I have a bunch I am saving to read to my grandson when he is old enough. Lana
