I had to have a go at recreating the patchwork image from this 1980's Enesco mug I'd found at thrift last week.

My challenge was to craft the coaster using only items on hand - and quickly - no fussing!

I had some similar colored fabric and painters dropcloth squares for the background.
A touch of machine stitching and hand stitching later...
