Yes! Creative Content

a coarse roof, originally uploaded by jckirner.

OOoooffff - managed to get myself creating this morning.

A fused fabric collage used to practice free motion stitching, (yep - went for all the most obvious sea/water related icons) chopped into 4"x6" postcards

 then seamed into a tripod.

Leftovers were patchworked together with random zigzag stitching.

A coarse roof perhaps? All very tent-like.

(There's a Girl Scout camping trip coming up.)

  1. Randomly glancing down recent posts in my blog list, your colours caught my eye; that sea-drift, dive-in-the-water fabric and stitchery. So beautiful - I would be out there in my work-room in a shot, were it not for the freezing cold temperatures. I must catch up on your postings, for I have missed so much of late. Ann from UK.

  2. That would be a beautiful tent! And might even convert me to camping!

  3. I just popped over to see what you've been doing. Thought of you today as I just used some of those gorgeous dyed yarns you gave me!

I like your tent! So fun that you went beyond the postcards. Have fun camping!
