Odd Tuesdays - Stitched, the film

Doing a virtual Odd Tuesday gathering today.

Odd Tuesday's are the get-together days for my local creative friends. We BYOL (bring your own lunch), share Show-n-Tell for works in progress, and create mini-workshops for each other in varied fabric related techniques.

Today we're all scattered with other activities - summer travel, etc, - so I'm hosting the meeting online!

Lookee what arrived in the mail!! The DVD for the indie film "Stitched". Filmmakers Jenalia Moreno, Nancy Sarnoff, and Thomas Gandy follow quilt artists Caryl Bryer Fallert, Hollis Chatelain , and Randall Cook for more than a year leading up to  entering work at Houston's 2010 International Quilt show. Plus, they contrast the mindsets and reactions of the traditional vs. art quilters and capture the general quilt show "feeling of being there".

And it's a bit funny....

Next get-together is July 5th!
