Popping up in my Pinterest stream recently was this hand painted vintage bread box. It was offered on eBay by the seller gmikulich (who did the painting).
And a realization popped into my head - I NEED a bread box!! Preferably a vintage one. Not too big. Maybe with a roll top cover, or a drop down door - something that leaves a top shelf for
It's a NEED - I have a bread pilfering dog. She sometimes retaliates being left alone too long (an hour or so which equals a month in dog years) by counter surfing any lingering nibbles.
So a bread box is on my thrifting radar...
