Salvaged lace on old pegs |
How'd your January treat you? Mine's been filled with weekend outings, MAJOR decluttering/sorting/organizing, and a bunch of behind the scenes Etsy/Ebay tweaking.

Gelli plate printing experiments |
One of our recent creative get-togethers included playing with Gelli plate printing on paper and fabric.
I made an album with my fabric printing efforts (see the blue stripes on the book above). Those postcards will get further embellishment later on.
I used thrift shop shirt fabrics in the album- a red denim for the exterior combined with a tropical floral for the inside flaps.
Overall I'm pleased I made something and completed it into a useful item, even if the exterior screams American Flag and is otherwise pretty uninspired!
Ready for February?
Thanks for stopping by!
